Welcome to the WACO R/C Barnstormer Club’s

Remote Controlled Aircraft Club

Our home field is located at the WACO Historical Society Airfield in Troy, Ohio. We share the center section of the 2000 foot full scale grass runway. We maintain approximately a 600 by 150 foot close-cropped grass runway. While you are at the airfield, enjoy a visit to the WACO Historical Society Museum and Learning Center.

We welcome any Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) member looking for a spacious airfield with no obstructions. No need to worry about trees to get in the way!

Our members fly (but are not limited to) helicopters, electric park flyers, traditional 2 and 4 stroke “nitro” aircraft, and giant scale aircraft.

Are you new to the radio control world? Stop by the field. You can find someone there to help get you started.

Monthly Meetings

Our monthly meetings are the second Monday of the month, 7PM, at the field.  In case of poor weather conditions, the meeting is held in the WACO Historical Society conference room.
